“An 84-year-old retired lady teacher, who has given up her LPG subsidy, wrote to me praising the programme to provide cooking fuel to poor ladies to present them aid from ‘chulha’ smoke, and has despatched a donation of Rs 50,000 for the programme,” Modi stated in his month-to-month Mann Ki Baat radio handle.
